News and weather app not detecting correct country

Senior Member - OP Thanks Meter 23 Posts: 220 Join Date: Mar 2010	News and weather app not detecting correct country i've just flash cm6 nightly build, it seems like my news and weather app is unable to detect the country which i'm in. i live in Singapore, previously in cm5.0.8, it was able to detect my location for weather and localised news. now, it says "Sorry, weather currently unavailable" and the news are U.S. based. i have set the My Location to use wireless networks and Locale to English (United States). also, is it possible to select the time zone in cm6 nightly build to GMT+08:00 Singapore Time?
