Default PC World Review

4.5 out of 5 stars

Pros
Stunning Super AMOLED Display
Thin and lightweight design

Cons
Can't install third-party apps
Performance can be a bit sluggish

Bottom Line
The Samsung Captivate has a dazzling display, a bevy of multimedia and social networking features, and a killer camera.

Wow, with the custom ROM's coming out they would put this 5/5. I like this phone much more then I did my iPhone 3GS.

"can't install 3rd party apps" is actually very misleading. You can use the sideload wonder machine app on your computer without even having to root your phone. http://www.androidcentral.com/sidelo...wonder-machine

I think they mean without having to use any other software, as in verizons droids they didnt disable it on those have option to enable with default being disabled, while att removed the option all together.

Is kinda easy to set your phone up for 3rd party apps, just need to be rooted.

Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I897 using XDA App
