question about plan

i ordered a Motorola droid with a "possibly bad esn" on ebay the phone arives and it is in flawless condition i was playing with the phone and i really like it. then i open the dial pad and i call current activated phone and i notice that the call went threw and it worked and then i notice that the internet was working and so was text then i went on Verizonwireless.com made a account with the phone number and when i go to check hat plan i have this shows up NATIONWIDE VZW MANAGEMENT/DEMO UNLIMITED $0.00 i have had the phone for about 2 days everything is fully functional. is there anyway to find out how long it will stay connected for ?

Do you think "possibly bad esn" wasn't referring to the condition of the phone, but the legality of it? Aka, it's bad because it's stolen? It might just be me, but "NATIONWIDE VZW MANAGEMENT/DEMO UNLIMITED" sounds like something that a demo phone in the store may have; don't cha think?
