Unhappy [Q] How do i extract ime ?

Hello...
Somebody help me....
I'd like to extract Ime for SKT Stock ime.
I tried to install .apk from stock rom.
But It was not installed
then I flashed extracted apk files to zip.
It didn't work also...
How do i extract ime?

You can find it under the battery
or type *#*#4636#*#* in the dialer and you can then find it under phone info

edit: My bad misread, found the problem description already weird

i don't think he means the IMEI
you mean htc_ime? the keyboard right?
you can try copying it over to your sd card in adb shell: cp htc_ime.apk /sdcard
or you can copy it over to your computer, sign it and flash it?

if these 2 methods don't work i assume they are not compatible, this could be the case if you are flashing 2.1 software on a 2.2 rom and visa versa.

if you send me the .apk you want to get, i can sign it and make it into a flashable zip, if that doesn't work it's simply not compatible

Yeah~ you are right..
i means the IMEI..
It was problem i was flashed 2.1 software on a 2.2 rom...
I can't found your e-mail so i attached this thread.
If you need Full skt stock rom. I'll send to you..

Here you go, this will flash the keyboard.
If it does not work then this means 2.1 and 2.2 are not compatible.
The zip will work.

It was flashed well but didnt work.
I think it need more something or it's not full files.
