Is it possible for the camera on android 2.x to wok?

I don't know how to make a rom, but I do know it's a hard job. I really want to enjoy the android 2.x, but all the cooked roms, no matter 2.1 or 2.2, do not have a working camera. I have to use it, so I just want to know if there is a possibility for me to use android 2.X?

Well yes, it can be done to get it work.
But so far, none of the coders who makes roms for tattoo doesnt know how to do it!

I really dont know why you are so upset, because I have read most of the threads posted since I got my phone last month. And what's the point to post a thread posted on purpose? I posted it just because I want to know sth I don't know. If I really make a mistake, you can ignore my thread and leave it to the buddies who are willing to answer my question.
