Using while charging

What's the trick? When I plug into my computer MTP Application pops up on the phone and just says "Connected." I have to unplug it to do anything.

Theres a setting for usb conn that will let you use it as an ext drive and other options. I doins id i change the default to external drive or mass storage i think they call it you can uae the phone while charging.

You can set thay as default or have it make you select eaxh time

Good to know. I ended up plugging the charger to the wall and did it that way today, because of this.

Although I just looked through settings, and can't find it. Must be buried somewhere.

Hey there...to better help you with this problem (as I had the exact same problem and it really pissed me off):

1. Go to "Settings"
2. Go to "Applications"
3. Got to "USB Settings"
4. Select "Ask on Connection"

I have no idea what "Samsung Kies" does other than drive a person crazy...anyone out there know what that does?

I have a feeling AT&T are gonna get calls about this...
