is this normal? screen stays lit ALL THE TIME

Member - OP Thanks Meter 0 Posts: 73 Join Date: Jun 2010	is this normal? screen stays lit ALL THE TIME OK so whenever I get a text the screen lights up like notification but it won't turn off EVER. Until I check the message. It's killing my battery. Is this a normal feature?
