get rid of touchwiz

there seems to be a definate lag when pressing the home button from an app or menu

some users have said that adding launcher pro speeds it up overall, and im wondering if that gets rid of touchwiz and repaces it, or if it just sits on top?
and finally, does adding launcher pro actually help the home button lag?

Doesn't replace it, doesn't sit on top...Android lets you choose which home launcher it loads, but it only loads one. So you can toggle back and forth.

Try it, you'll like it.

does it load back to launcher pro faster than it does to the default?
i have tried it in the store for quite a while and im wondering if something so simple would let it match the aria in UI speed
