Is the slide to txt/ call a function of Touch Wiz?

may sound dumb, but I think it is one of the cooler features about the phone or launcher, which ever it belongs to (played with the captivate yesterday at store).

yea, its part of touchwiz and the only thing that I would miss if a stock Froyo rom was released today

Agreed. Hopefully someone can find a way to port it over. It is the one thing that Samsung got right. I was liking the music player too until I found out that it closes itself every time I try to sort by artist.
