Default Missing stock 2.1 widgets

Pet Peeves of this phone so far:

NO Music Widget for the stock music app (i checked in touchwiz, AND ADWlauncher)

NO Calendar widget for the default calendar app (the best alternative i found is either "What's Today" or "Smooth Calendar Widget" - both just not the same function as the default 2.1 calender)

I understand this is touchwiz, and the overlay has affected the music and calndar programs as well, but come on samsung, leave well enough alone.

There needs to be more control, more of a standard, to which these phones adhere to. I love android because of the customization, but some of the manufacturers are getting out of hand.

Touchwiz is actually really effing nice, but those two basic widgets should not have been touched IMO. Points off Samsung, and T-mobile...

I don't believe the GalaxyS comes with those apps in the first place, hence the lack of widgets.

I find that the TouchWiz Notifications Music Player widget is far more useful. Turning it on is just as easy with an icon on the home screen.

not for nothing, but i also feel that samsung could come up with a kickass widget for the music app. so the lack of one is more disappointing on a completeness of touchwiz and aesthetic level

I use Tunewiki widget which is pretty descent even though it uses it's own music player but you get lyrics too with internet.
