Default capacitive stylus?

Has anyone tried the capacitive stylus from Boxwave? I've used a Palm for years, and find I miss the stylus. So, anyone????

I'll probably buy one this week, unless someone else has made the experiment
If so, I'll report back. Amazon has 2 versions, regular and mini. The mini even has a cute little tether that plugs into the headphone jack.

I am curious if this would work. I kinda dont think so, but I dont know much about if there is anything inside a stylus to make it be recognized by a touch screen. If it is just plastic then doubt it will work.

Capacitive stylii (I'm thinking that's right, but I really don't care :P) have a method of conducting electricity from the hand to the screen. Most are made of metal and have a conductive foam tip that transfers the current to the screen as your finger would.

Any *capacitive* stylus should work fine on the Slide's screen assuming you're directly holding the stylus (so no gloves in the winter).

I thought they used magnets to produce a magnetic field.... Didn't think about something to conduct from the hand tru the tip... Very interesting.

i heard something about using a wienie (sorry if misspelled) as a stylus on capacitive screens works. just that it'll make your hand and phone smell like wienie.
