Unhappy Headphone port fault after 2 months

I've only had the Desire for 2 months but already the headphone port is cutting out.

Anyone else had problems?

I'm assuming there won't be a problem getting a repair/replacement under warranty?

I guess I'll have to unroot and re-generic ROM it as well prior to sending it to HTC?

Rather annoying...

The music cuts out or loses most the signal when the headphone jack is moved. I need to spin it in the port to get it to work most the time but it then needs to be kept still. This obviously creates problems when walking with the device in my pocket.

I've tried 2 different sets of headphones so I know it's the port that has the problem.
