I think you are talking about the "Daily Briefing". It's a good app, I specially like the Acuweather. You can remove the app from your idle screen if you don't like it by tapping and holding the icon and then draging it the bin which appears on the bottom of the screen.

yea.. but I don't think accuweather is very informative. Furthermore, can I add my own personal add-ons for daily briefing? I don't want Y! Finance. :X And for daily briefing, I can only add events instead of 'to do's, and ya, I would like it to be like HTC's Sense interface.
