Default Latest zimage 25th July, Screen of Death

A lot of users including myself are having a major problem with the latest zimage. When putting phone in standby and waking phone back up we see nothing just a dark screen yet others say they have it working?

Does anyone know what we are doing wrong if anything? Please reply if you are affected by this problem too.

zImage from cotulla site is only for testing purpose.
since no source code for these Linux kernel builds is publicly available, nobody will be able to comment. you just lay back and wait for an update.
What I do
* port Linux (kernel) to HTC phones like the hd2
* document everything about development and make it easily available
* provide non-Android distros for Linux enabled HTC phones for more diversity

Most likely if you have a TMOUS, you will get the SOD, If you have a EU then no SOD. Different Panels.
Issued being worked on, I do believe.
