Facebook for HTC Sense

i recently purchased a htc wildfire and syncd my facebook account with htc sence. Initially it worked like a charm adding facebook information and pics of all my phone contacts. But later when i changed my facebook password on the site, and created a new account on facebook for htc sence on my phone as i had to modify its password, the account was created successfully and it also updates evrything. But now i dont have any of my facebook contacts or contact information and pictures of my phone contacts that were synced with facebook. All the remaining features like Friendstream work perfectly and show all the updates. Please help.

I have the exact same problem.
However it appears its a common bug in the HTC Sense Facebook for Android 2.1.
I am going to contact HTC by mail to see what's up.

I have not yet gotten a response from HTC.

I googled for some longer time.
Apparently, Facebook broke something and they are trying to fix it.

I am afraid the only thing is to wait.
