Does anyone have problems installing the Google maps 4.4.0 update from the market?

It keeps saying installation unsuccessful

I installed it without any problems. If you have issues installing the 4.4.0 update, first uninstall Google Maps and then install it from the Market application.

I noticed lattitude has also made an appearance on the menu too.

I think they need to update the Places app though. By clicking on "Gas Stations", i am given results for companies that sell bottled gas, not petrol or diesel. By clicking on ATMs, i am given a recovery company 20 miles from me, not cash machines.
