US Rom's?

Any US ROM's available for the Galaxy S yet? Also, can the Captivate and Vibrant use the standard galaxy ROM's?

I did read somewhere the the US phones can possibly use the PDA from our firmware and vice versa. HOWEVER, I haven't seen any confirmation and I would hold off until someone has confirmed it should/does work.
Some of our custom ROMs (update.zip files) may work but some may also cause bugs. That will also depend on the fw you have installed on your captivate/vibrant

I have i9000 jm2 firmware on the us version of the captivate.i also used jm1 csc file when flashing. Afterwards, flashed the captivate kernel. I also used the sam set 1.6 with it. So far so good. No problem so far. Used it for whole day.

^Wait how exactly did you do it? I have a Samsung Vibrant and wouldn't mind having Froyo tomorrow.
