Default Proper way to back to NOT having a2sd

So, I wanted to format my card and go back to having the apps locally. The thread for manually partitioning your card is fine and dandy. However, on my G1, I know when I did this, my phone left traces of the apps that were on the sd all over my menus, such as icons being there, but of course the apps are no longer on the sd card.

Should I simply go to Settings > Applications > Manage applications > Filter > Downloaded, and uninstall everything there first and then format the card? Then reinstall my apps...?
Current:
Phone: T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S3 (SGH-T999)
ROM: Official stock JB from T-Mobile
Recovery: Stock

Tablet: Acer Iconia A500
ROM: CM10 Jelly Bean 4.1 by waydownsouth
Recovery: Thor's 1.7 Touch Recovery of CWM

If I do not Thank your thread, it's because of the XDA Classic forum theme, sorry...

That will probably work. My personal experience with apps2sd on my G1 was that a wipe was the only sure-fire way to make sure everything goes smoothly. YMMV.

Who do you think you are!?!?

I actually meant to mention in my first post that I wasn't sure if this belonged in Q&A or not since it was a2sd, which is only available to rooted folks so far. Thanks.
