Unlink Contacts

Sorry If this has been already asked. I searched everywhere and the responses didn't help.

Basically, my father and I have the same name, and my Samsung Captivate swears that we are the same person and decided to link the two contacts together.

I have searched in different forums and the answer is simple:

- Go to the contact
- Click on Menu>edit
- Click on Menu>unlink

However I have looked everywhere for that cute little "unlink" button with no success. I have even called the cops, but they tell me that my little button needs to be missing for at least 48 hours before they start searching.

Could you help me?

1-open contacts
2- find you or your dads name
3-click on it
4- bottom of the screen should be "linked contacts"
5-click it
6-click on either one of the minus signs.

It was not at the bottom of the screen but at the middle.
