Signal booster

Has anyone had luck with signal boosters on the dinc and or know of a good one?

The stick on types are bogus.

You can purchase a signal booster from Verizon, but they are $199 (or $99 after rebate) but require a subscription to use as well.

There are other products as well, but they are typically north of $150 as well.

Think it was the AT&T one that did.

Not a bad deal, especially if you have a number of phones and a weak signal.

not sure that is what he was looking for though.

Think he was really asking about something you can attach to the phone itself.

Either attach or stationary. I get horrible signal at work and just need something to setup on my desk for better signal.

I have Verizon signal booster. It just broke so I need to send it in. It works great in my house within 20'. Farther than that its no better than a regular signal. The thing I hate about it is, if your talking on the phone and walk out of range it will drop your call. I do it walking out in my back yard by the pool and if I get into my truck and drive out of my driveway it drops the call. I have a home office and it does help while in it but no where else. I have very mixed feeling about it...

ask your work if you can connect your phone to their wifi network, free signal...

I work for a large corporation who has a closed network and religiously watches bandwidth usage. Can't use the wifi. Sadly a booster is my only option. I may just make one this weekend.
