Just wanted to second, this fix worked for me when I was having problems reinstalling Meteor Deluxe and Google Sky Map after installing Cyanogenmod 6-RC3.

Here's one solution that worked for me:

I installed Android Market 3.0.27 from http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1166152

I cleared the market cash and Google services framework data as per the steps described here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=893538

Then the trick that did it was to disable app2SD under settings/applications.

I still am missing some apps in the market (Skype, Facebook, Google Maps, etc.) but at least I can install them from apk files now.

I hope this helps.
Cheers
