Default Anyone using a class 10 card?

Hey. Just curious how many of you have replaced the stock 16gb class 2 sdcard with class 4,6 or 10. Can you chime in with your inputs on performance between these classes. I know the theoretical transfer speeds, but I am curious how they actually perform in day to day use. Would jumping from a class 2 to class 6 be noticeable, or a class 6 to class 10?

Thanks

I am interested to.

Have just upgraded to an Ebay 16gig Class 6. Speed is faster than a Class 2 but not sure if it is a Class 4 or class 6.

Tempted to buy a 8gig Class 10 but struggling to find a reputable source of these.

In case you don't know Class x denotes the write speed. Class 2 has a 2meg/sec. Class 6 has a 6meg/sec write speed. Also gt a increase in read speed. All must be good for the HD unless the Interface is slower than the card??

From my reading and investigation, not many devices out there support such high speed, I'm thinking phone isn't one of the device that do. I would like to see someone do some testing and see if there is a difference on a HD2 between a class 6 vs class 10.

I didn't know they had a class 10, but I'm running a class 6 and I can tell the difference from the 16gb stock card. Loading Android is a lot faster too.

I've got a couple of 16Gig class 2s and a 4Gig class 10. I can certainly tell a difference. I haven't done any empirical testing but gut says it's almost twice as quick. The difference comes when you multitask, getting a couple apps open, app loading, etc.

The problem with the 4Gig is the obvious lack of size. I'm thinking of buying a 32Gig class 4.

Agree! A video might help us to decide if it is worth buying a class 10 card.

Looking at numbers alone, a class 6 is three times faster than a class 2 and a class 10 is five times faster than a class 2 so upgrading from a class 2 would appear to be a sure fire bet in both cases

In comparison a class 10 is only 1.6 times faster than a class 6.

So I think I will stick with my class 6 for now until class 12+ comes out.
