Galaxy S TV cable pin assignment

Anyone able to help me confirm the pin assignment of TV cable?

I've tried an iPod cable which has the following pin assignment:
4. video
3. ground
2. audio 2
1. audio 1

It didn't work right away.

But when pulled away a bit (so that the contacts shift by one), it worked in mono with audio 2 serving as video. My conclusion was that indeed, seems that galaxy S supposed to have the same pinout as you've described above (BTW: that is also what seems to be the pinout for Nokia cable).

So far though, re-soldering the 4 and 3 pins on my cable didn't seem to work... Haven't found the reason yet.

Buy a standard 3.5mm 4 pin to RCA output cable will do.
The audio-video arrangement could be different, but you can easily sort them out.

Just plug the 3.5mm jack into the phone, active the TV out, set the TV AV input and try the yellow, red and white into the videl(yellow) input terminal.

1 of the cable (might not be yellow) will work. then the remaining 2 will go into the left (white) & right (red) audio input.

My nokia tv out cable works perfectly!!

I can confirm, this is the RIGHT one:
1 - audio left - white
2 - audio right - red
3 - video - yellow
4 - ground - Shield

This is WRONG (this was the assignment for the cable find in one FOTO-VIDEO store! that I have modified according with pin assignment from above and then it worked!):
1 - audio left - white
2 - audio right - red
3 - ground - Shield
4 - video - yellow
