OTA update through systemsoftware/updates, ROOT gone

Ok,

how about the people how updated through systemsoftware/updates from their Desires.
People with bad blocks (i'm lucky i don't have them) can't use the rooted "official" froyo roms from the devs here.

Root is gone
Unrevoked doesn't work anymore
fakeflash rename to update.zip doesn't work anymore.

How to restore root for the ones who updated through their phones?

You've to wait for a solution, everyone have been advised that this would happen.

the`ll just have to wait and keep theire fingers crossed... it has been said numerous times in here: "official update wipes root.."

and then some people cry because they can't root...

Yeah warnings enough but phones with badblocks can't update with the rooted roms from the devs over here.
