Hi guys im new to android so forgive my ignorance.
When looking at task manager there are 2 processes that i find suspect.
The first has no name and just has the android package icon.
The second is called log master, is this a text logger?
Im also wondering why some apps need access to the personal and phone areas of my device.
am i being paranoid?

If you can uninstall them then you probably installed them, if you try to uninstall and it's greyed out, it's probably a dell thing... I could be wrong.

Its probably dell then.
as a general rule are the apps on the market safe?

Well... yes and no. I mean, an app shows what it has access to, so you can download them and know what the app has access to. If you download a tetric clone and it has access to everything... then I might be a little worried.

Games that have access to location is probably just a high-score system which tells you what country/city you're in.
Not sure about the phone though.

the blank one is the home app I think.

logmaster appears to be for debugging, like lots of the other dengineering stuff lazy Dell left in there..

The games need tuo know when the phone is ringing so they can present you with an option to answer while pausing the game
