Default ADW Launcher Problem

I tried ADW and loved it, but went back to TW when I realized that I couldn't use the samsung apps. I have now decided that I don't need them and can't get back to ADW.

I tried:

Going into the app manager and found no love

Reinstalling ADW, still no joy

Reinstalling ADW from a backup with no warm fuzzies there either

"Help me Obewon your my only hope."

Have you tried going to settings, manage apps, then finding two launcher and clearing defaults?

Ya, I tried that first but TW is not listed in the application manager so you can't do anything there.

Talking Thanks afive720

you got me thinking and I figured it out.

I installed launcher Pro which I had never used on this phone before when I hit the home button it gave the option of changing the launcher like it should and I picked ADW instead! Now I can uninstall Launcher Pro and I'm good to go!

Oh, the irony I just used launcher Pro to install ADW. lmao

Nice! Reason you didn't find it is because by default, it only lists third party apps. What you need to do is hit menu, and change the filter to display all. Then, you will be able to clear defaults on tw launcher. Just incase you need to in the future, hope it helped lol.

I believe there is an app on the market called home switcher and it lets you choose what home you want as your default right from that app.

That is hilarious, I was just going to suggest that... this same thing
happened to me.

I installed ADW, but I stupidly hit "default" and hit the samsung launcher... DOH!

I, as well, could not find the launcher to clear its default setting.

Then I, out of the blue, decided to install LauncherPro, and BAM...

The option to choose "Home" popped up!!

You are not the only one to use LauncherPro ONLY to get ADW back..
