Exclamation Problem with manual froyo update

Hi all, i have a branded virgin desire that I rooted with the gold card method. I then downgraded with an official Rom to debrand my phone. I then put the froyo update.zip on the root of my SD card and rebooted into the boot screens, when it gives me the apply update.zip it starts installing and gets about 25% though and gives me this error message

E:Can’t open /cache/recovery/command
installing update…

Assert Failed: file_getprop(“/system/build.prop”, “ro.build.fingerprint”) == “htc_wwe/htc_bravo/bravo/bravo:2.1-update1/ERE27/174215:user/release-keys” || file_getprop(“/system/build.prop”,”ro_build.fingerprint”) ==”htc_wwe/htc_bravo/bravo/bravo:2.2/FRF91/218634:user/release-keys”

E:Error in sdcard/update.zip

(status 7)

Installation aborted.

Anyone help please... there's a beer waiting
Cheers

Did you use a rooted froyo update? This is mandatory.

DONATE TO ME
Try to REBOOT your device and increase space on your Internal Memory and try it again. And do update via Wi-Fi not Data Network on your carrier
