Default New Kernel Available

Hi Alex,

Did you try the new kernel which is out??Does it give better battery life???

I have try the oc kernel...it work on my rom..about battery life i can not say much....try it

(make a nandroid backup before...so you can go back)


I can see it use the 1113 mhz in SetCpu and Android System info...but the quadrant score (between 1200-1350 normal till good for a froyo sense rom) is the same as before i flashed the kernel..?!!

To your question..: I know the pic you mean...but i can not find it in : framework-res.apk...com.htc-resources.apk...htc-Dialer and Contacts.apk

I tried the new rom with kernel from richardtrip and the system is very very slow.
I think some modules are fighting against the features of that kernel...
I hope to you to make a version compatible with that kernel, in a future.

Check out SetCPU settings: it reverted to "powersave" mode two times in a row, this afternoon. Reverting it back to "On Demand" made the ROM rock back.
Indeed, almost every time the Desire goes to sleep, SetCPU reverts to "powersave". I'll try with JuiceDefender' CPU control instead.

@Alex-V: I like your work so much, especially the effort you put in linking and updating all the addons out there. You ROM works just fine, it's polite and fast and with the new RichardTrip' kernel addition is even more enjoyable.
This night I'll test the battery lasting, but you deserve your beer even before it.

Got 1442 on Quadrant with the new kernel and no overclocking + ondemand governor!
