Default [Q] Debrand a T-Mobile Wildfire?

DO I just use a goldcard and download this:

http://shipped-roms.com/shipped/Buzz...814_signed.exe

I'm slightly concerned that it says "HTC Buzz" rather than "HTC Wildfire". Is this normal? am I changing he phone in any way that may prevent it getting updates in the future?

I just need reassurance that HTC Buzz is the same phone as the Wildfire. Was it originally called the Buzz or something, before the marketing men got involved and rebranded it.

The reason I want to debrand is the Froyo update will arrive long before the T-Mobile one arives.

Thanks.

HTC-Buzz and HTC Wildfire are the same. Buzz is the Working-Title and Wildfire the one for sale.
Its typical for HTC-Devices.

Can I debrand my H3G UK Wildfire? Do I just have to prepare a goldcard (forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=572683), place it into the phone and then I will be able to downgrade a rom? Thanks in advance for reply.

Hello, it's me again. I've just tried to debrand my phone (H3G UK). I've made a gold card and downloaded that rom: RUU_Buzz_HTC_WWE_1.14.405.2_R_Radio_13.45.55.24_3. 35.15.31_release_130814_signed.exe. I run the exe, everything was ok, and suddenly I got an error. It was error 140, something about bootloader version.
I checked bootloader version - HBOOT-0.80.0003
Is there any way to debrand my phone?
Guys, please help me.

The Problem is the Bootloader Ver.1.19 is newer than RU-Version 1.14, so can NOT downgrade this phone!! You can still wait for Froyo 2.2!
