[Q] Adding the Russian language in the firmware Vibrant

Good afternoon, members of this forum!
I bought a Vibrant, but there is unfortunately no Russian language menu and input .. I would like to add the Russian language in the firmware. Can I take firmware from samsungfirmwares for vibrant. It add the csc file from the Russian firmware. Will this work?

Russian input can easily be done with most third-party keyboards. I prefer SmartKeyboard Pro, but I know many others support Russian input as well.

As far as localizing the interface, that would require a new ROM with the locale included. I don't believe you can just drop in a file, because most applications would need to have their strings individually taken care of.

Go to market and search MoreLocale 2. I believe there is Russian in there. Hope it helps

MoreLocale works not correctly - more menu names in English...

The same problem. It should be added to the slimrom russian.

I think latest version of SlimBean have russian and tons of other languages.
