Default Just rooted, nandroid question

So i've just rooted my mytouch slide (had a g1 running CM 6) however, i'm alittle hesitant to flash a custom rom mainly because I'm unsure of the degree of backup nandroid provides....maybe someone can clear it up - please answer only if you know for certain.

Running stock and rooted, if I do a nandroid backup - and decide to flash CM...then decide I want to go back to stock - Can I easily use the nandroid restore function? Will i get back everything? Will I get back stock apps such as swype? Honestly I would think the answers to my questions are "yes" but I really want to be certain.

Thanks in advance!

Wrong forum.

But yes, a nandroid backup will restore everything. Settings, applications, themes, emails, etc.

Yup, think of nandroid taking a snapshot of what your phone currently has.
Current:
Phone: T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S3 (SGH-T999)
ROM: Official stock JB from T-Mobile
Recovery: Stock

Tablet: Acer Iconia A500
ROM: CM10 Jelly Bean 4.1 by waydownsouth
Recovery: Thor's 1.7 Touch Recovery of CWM

If I do not Thank your thread, it's because of the XDA Classic forum theme, sorry...

exxxcellent, sounds good enough for me! I always figured it would restore me back.....obviously thats the point, but i never had an issue with my G1 so i figured it didn't hurt to double check. Thanks for the help.

I was in the same situation, never had to use Nandroid until this phone.
