Default Flashed Vibrant back to original firmware (UGJG8) not rooted: PROBLEM

Now I have no network connection.

I can make calls, receive calls but I cannot do anything that requires data.

Under my phone status I see

Mobile Network State
Disconnected

I have tried factory resetting, battery pulls, reflashing original firmware... I am at my wits end. Anything ANYTHING to try would be awesome.

Like is there a way to force the connection back on??

For better connection speeds, you might want to experiment with:

pda2.bell.ca (what iPhones are set to, I always see better speeds on this)
inet.bell.ca (which is the default APN on the Vibrant, and probably the least used across the network at the moment, speeds just a bit lower than pda2 in general, too close to call)

Then again, pda.bell.ca is reported to have problems tracking all your data usage, in your favour.
