Default Rhodpup ('road pup')

i feel my growth through all things linux has been at a stand still for a little and really want go further. so i thought of starting a challenging but presumably not impossible project... and since the rhobuntu project (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=640785) seems dead and i suspect puppy would run beautifully (http://www.puppylinux.org/wikka/MinReq) on the htc rhodium, it all seems like the right time.

anyhow i admittedly know very little on making this work... but most of the ground work seems to be done.. the kernel is pretty active through the xdandroid project (with the lack of speaker sound and camera not being a big deal), they have a port already for the sms/phone (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=709101) features... and i remember puppy can handle debs .

the only issue i might see is if puppy can handle armel... but i remember before i switched to ubuntu (i know blasphemy  ) that there was that t2 thing... so that doesn't seem like an issue either.

so in short i'm looking for steps in the right direction from the puppy folks and xda (will probably duplicate this post over there)

general rule seems to be to reserve a spot just in case... dunno how far i'll get with time/work constraints but better safe then sorry.
