Compact QWERTY selection

Hi, I prefer to use the compact qwerty keyboard but the phone seems to automatically revert to full qwerty after a period of time. Does anyone else have this problem or would happen to know a solution for it? Thanks.

Mine is a bigger problem. Compact QWERTY nowhere to be found.

I have exactly the same problem with the compact qwertz changing back to full qwertz randomly. very annoying! opera is using a different keyboard anyway, but after that, always the full qwertz is there. also, turning on/off bluetooth and/or wifi seems to be reverting the compact qwertz to full mode. Will also contact HTC support for that.
