Default Phone better not have any issues for $250!!!

That's not a steep price for a phone that works perfectly as described...but if something has issues like the GPS or software issues then I'll def be really disappointed. Do you guys agree? I actually returned my Evo because $200 just didn't justify the light bleeding through the bottom, screen grounding issues, and poor 720p recording. From watching youtube videos of the other galaxy phones it looks like the HD recording is good (higher vid/audio quality) and there are no issues with screen sensitivity caused by grounding issues. Crossing my fingers!

Well we there will always be issues..nothing is perfect...we can only hope that the issues are due to an uncommon defect that can be fixed with replacing the device or a software issue that can be easily fixed.

You know, the EVO's light leakage and grounding issues have been solved... Also, I like to look at the light leakage as an automatic warranty swap when ever I feel my phone needs it.

I suggest you stay away from the phone then. There will inevitably be issues with every single phone that comes out, its the nature of the beast. Just hope that the unit u pick up doesn't have many issues and works the way it's suppose to
on an EPIC journey!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you want a phone with no issues, I would stay away from Android, Blackberry, Palm and Windows Mobile... I hear Sanyo makes a nice flip phone It even has a camera and bluetooth!

Sprints contract price is 249.99, so unless your 300 includes tax or something..yeah its 250.

Just sayin.

Yeah................. I hate to say this but, I think I'm gonna have to sit on the sidelines for a week or two on this one. I'm getting two so $750-800 otd -$200 rebate( wouldn't hold my breath waiting for that). Maybe its just me but that's steep. I have to agree with OP, I'm going to need some positive field reports/ autopsy photos/ dev activity to push me over the edge. Also I don't think the current pricing will last very long, waiting 1-2 weeks could save me serious cash plus i'll know what I'm getting into. YMMV.
