Trying to orchestrate the Rodgers captivate firmware transfer

I setting this up so that when the Rodgers version comes out, hopefully on the 20th, we can have the HOW TO ready for the people who are planning on getting this phone so they can be able to extract and dump the firmware for the phone to this site in a timely manner so the developers can piece this firmware back together.

Anyone getting the Rodgers Captivate on the rumored release date? If so stay tuned because hopefully some one can post up how you can help us by dumping your firmware.

Someone please post up a how to so we can get this phone up and going. I have my fingers crossed ...This seems to be our last hope.

Why does your post sound like nothing has been going on here, and the Rogers Captivate firmware is our only hope. As I post this from my JH2 loaded phone, the only thing that I think the Rogers dump would add, would be HSUPA. We can have made pretty good progress on the other issues. It would be good to lick the wake up lag on compiled kernels, but a firmware dump is not going to help with that.

There is no need to "set up" a thread for possibly getting a firmware dump from a device without a firm release date. Feel free to recreate once the device is actually released.
