Thumbs down Installed Kies!Lost connection to PC!

OMFG! Aint that Samsung Pos software a pain in the butt or what? My connection worked fine,and suddenly i came up with the not so great idea to install Kies!

Just bought ur self a SGS,huh? whatever you do,DONT install Kies.Its totaly useless,and messes up ur connection to the PC!

KIES works fine for me, win7, JG5 or JM2 no problems what so ever.

Yeah. Samsung definitely has some major issue in the software department here.

Kies is picky but can be managed.

Are you using a different launcher? I have read here and verified that when running Launcher Pro SGS will not connect to PC. Reverting back to stock resolves the issue.

i have to open kies before i connect the phone, or else it will stuck in the middle of opening if i plug the phone and let the kies to auto-run...

There is absolutely no need to install Kies.

This is not Apple.

I have no problems at all with kies either??? Do you also have Samsung PC Studio installed? That can be and was my issue previously. Also Kies won't work with debugging on.

No debugging,samsung software,pro launcher ...!
The fact is still that it has worked flawless before i installed Kies.Now it wont even make the "connected" sound on my pc.I have uninstalled everything,even the old usb-driver,but still no luck.

Samsung should consider hiring some good software-devs.Guess there´s a bunch right here on XDA that would do ten times better job
