unable to download from market x10 mini

so, bought one of these today to use alongside my desire. Signed in with my google account as usual, but for some reason am unable to download anything off the android market, it'll say starting download, but gets no further. Tried googling it but none of the fixes i've seen will work. Anyone got any idea's before i take it back tomorrow??

I had the same problem the other day. Turned out that my internal memory was "full" although I hade som MB to spare. Couldn't download any new apps or update existing ones until I removed some apps.

Same problem here in Germany with the market. Don't know what's wrong today.

Well, I sorted it in the end by creating a new gmail email address for my mini and using import and export tools on google to swap my contacts and calendar from one account to the other. As soon as I signed in it then worked. I have no idea why. I've been using my other account on 2 hero's and 2 different desires for some time. :-/
