Am I just missing it or is there no way to change the very first boot image?

Just trying to figure out how to replace that ATT first boot image with one of my own like I did on my Tilt 2.

Not without cooking your own ROM.

Ah interesting...with the Tilt2 we were able to run a flash, like if we were changing ROMS but only to change that first screen so I was hoping for something similar with Odin.

I created a new thread in General about this. I've found the file, just can't overwrite it.

Wait, you are talking about the ATT World Phone screen or the 3G animation? The Animation can be changed or deleted, the white ATT World Phone screen cannot without cooking your own ROM.

I had a Tilt2 also and it was easy to change Boot screens as you have mentioned.

Yes the ATT World Phone screen one....oh well.
