Default OEM Build changed from 00 to 21

Hey guys just for any of you who had 00 (unlocked) build on 1.6. Did you OEM build change to 21 since updating to Eclair 2.1?

Concern is that when 2.2 gets sent through OTA in North America, would we miss the OTA since technically we're now Euro build 21.

Yes, but I'm sure it will be possible by then to get back to stock 00 state. If everyone with 00 and 31 Streaks could flash to 21, then the reverse should be true too.

It is just a matter of someone putting out the stock 00 recovery and ROM, no?

Hopefully going back to 00 doesnt mean also going back to 1.6.

Thanks.

Why would it matter if you went back to 1.6 before the OTA upgrade, since you would be re-upgrading to the official 2.1 or 2.2 immediately?

Cause it's like I had a Honda Civic, and bought myself a Porsche, but before I go buy myself a nice Ferrari, I have to drive my Civic there.

It would just be nice to not have to mess around with the OS too much if I don't have to.

Just out of curiousity (and I've been monitoring the forums daily) can anyone say that they are working on a ROM to get us back to 1.6 (build 6601) for when the official updates get released? I certainly would feel better about being able to go back to the US version of the OS at will.

I am wondering also! It seems to me we will have to flash back to US AT&T 6601 1.6 ROM then upgrade to 2.2.
So far there is no US AT&T 6601 1.6 stock ROM to flash back to.
I'm not happy with the 2.1 I'm running now. The sound and video playback are not good.
