Default Problem with iGo 8

i have iGo 8 on WinMo and it works fine but when i install it on Android i get a "Please insert your SD card containing iGo 8 content files." is this because the path to the SD card is "/mnt/sdcard/..."? Is there a fix for this yet? or Do we have to wait till NAND? Thanks for all your help

Maybe because igo8 was designed for windows mobile and not android duh. Try igo motonav or igo my way. Dont ask me where to get them. I just know those are made for android. You can just transfer you maps, poi, etc over to the new one.

The problem with iGO for Android is that it is ONLY for HVGA screens yet! no WVGA support for now! The only workaround is to use Motonav which is a redesined iGO for the Motorola phones and WVGA res!

iGO8 work me, you must have iGO8 folder on the SD card, but it has no 800x600 screen support, so you will see only small screen. Like someone wrote already, MotoNav works great but has very simple UI without special function.

You need to rename the folder "iGo My Way" to

"iGo".

It will work afterwards, though only 1/4 of the screen will be captured, because there are not 800x480 images out there. When I'm driving car, I use WinMob

The best from both WinMob and Android! Hahaha

The problem with that message is that the phone is with plugged in data cable in Mass Storage mode. Either remove the (data) cable from phone or set to other mode (Charge only).

P.S. So many answers on the net and not even 1 (one !!!) helpfull (what a bore ...). I got this problem yesterday and luckily found the solution. Of course, there's always a chance to get this message, if you are using not paid and not cracked version of the problem.

There is a version of iGo My Way for Android which has a 800*480 resolution actually.

I already replied on a thread about the same thing : http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...40#post9011640

Hope this helps.

sorry to bother, i managed to start the igo (after renaming igo8 folder into igo - otherwise i get "no sd card"), i get the "loading" screen, but at around half of "progress bar" igo just quits, and after a while it says "unable to start .."

any ideas ?
