Default Portable Charger

So T-Mobile has the MicroUSB portable charger, that can charge your phone at any given time. Anyone brought one of these yet? Interested to see if it's really worth the $34.99+tax.

I purchased iGO from Radio Shack for $24.99. The exchangeable tip is free with base unit. Subsequent tips cost from $2 to $10, but it's more economical than buying a new charger for every device; less cluttered too.

I used to use this all the time with my G1. Of course now I would need an adapter for the USB connection.

Basically I would charge this thing up. When I was expected to be away from a source of power for extended periods of time I would bring this. It basically acts as a wall charger, but instead of plugging it in you would plug your USB and call it done.

I've misplaced it since I retired my G1 otherwise I'd show you photos in use.

Edit:

I found the original thread that started it all a long time ago.
