There are several versions of froyo for our blackstone released so far, but none of those have htc sense.
i wanna ask to developers why don't they have had the idea to make android froyo 2.2 with this wonderful user interface on the hd yet

We want froyo with htc sense on our Blackstone!!!

A couple of reasons....

1) The legality of it is questionable
2) It's not ACTUALLY that wonderful
3) It's a MASSIVE resource hog
4) Similar widget exist in the public domain
5) It's not some 'add on', it's very closely coupled with the OS and developers are busy porting Froyo properly

oh and...
The battery on our devices lasts 8 hours if we're lucky
The camera doesn't work
There are crashes
We can't reboot our devices without removing the battery or using the reset button
We have no multitouch
We have missing buttons in the hardware

And you want Sense so badly?

You should take a look at the latest kernel. It is supposed to fix the touchscreen bug

please pay attention to this:
"@Blackstone users: You have to calibrate your touchscreen during first boot!
Delete the ts_calibration file on your sdcard if you made a mistake while calibration
(or if it doesn't ask you for calibration)"

Sorry for this not so useful post, but i just couldn't resist replying .
Android on Blackstone is a continuous struggle for speed, battery life and usefulness. The devs are working hard on giving is the best Android-experience possible, it just seems to be a tough job .

The latest kernel in glemsom's autobuild. It allows our device to use a newer touchscreen driver, which has no jumping issue.

I'm not allowed to post links (just remove the space after http)
