Default Seidio more capacity = heavier?

I bought a Seidio 1750mAh off Amazon. I notice that my seidio is lighter than the 1300mAh stock that came with the droid. I haven't conducted any battery life test to see if the seidio one offers more juice, but I am wondering if I got a fake one.
If you happen to own a 1750mAh Seidio for HTC droid, please comment if it is heavier or lighter than the stock 1300mAh.

My 1750 IS heavier and I have gotten far better results from it than I did from stock. Juiceplotter estimates I have around 10 hours remaining at midnight when I plug it in, whereas the 1300mAh battery ended up needing to be plugged in around 7 or 8pm because it was about shot.

I have changed roms so many times, though, as well as kernels, that I can't make a reasonable comparison.

Is it noticeably heavier?

I stand corrected... my seidio is 29 grams, while the stock battery is 31...

Normally I would scoff at the idea of a lighter battery having more capacity, but it feels more flexible so perhaps they sacrificed the solid housing in exchange for physical capacity.

Anyway, whatever they did, I found the performance to be far better. We'll see after another month or two if it stays decent.

just about every aftermarket battery manufacturer has been put to the test. absolutely none of these companies batteries are the rating they are advertised. the seidio 1750 for the TP2 was really only 1380 mAh. the N1 1600 was only 1305. you'd be better off with the TP2 oem 1500 that you can get for 15 bucks on ebay.

just google batteryboss, the first site is the one you wanna see.

Sure, I read it. I have had it bookmarked for several months so I can check it occasionally. As you can see by his "benchmarks" he has tested exactly one seidio 1750 mAh battery which has been under "light use" for two months.

I have had this battery now for over two months, and it has consistently outperformed the stock battery far more than an extra 80mAh would. I am pleased with this battery and I stand by my own personal experience. The long run is what will determine if I buy from them again.

So far I would say this battery has paid for itself.
