Do you think the Slide's official 2.2 update will include support for live wallpapers.

Yeah, I know that it would just be speculation at this point. Do Live Wallpapers run smoothly on the Cyanogen 6 rom?

It should, this phone may only have a minor 600MHZ Arm...But it still has 512RAM/ROM just like the N1 and even features a similar or probaby the same adreno GPU...So LWP should be no trouble for this thing, even 1st gen devices can run lwp's good and they have inferior specs to even this.

Nice. I own a Vibrant but, my father owns a MyTouch Slide and he doesn't trust me with rooting his phone. Hopefully they include support in the OTA update.

I honestly hope not, all they do is drain the battery, and eat memory.

I hope it comes with live wallpaper. This phone can definitely handle it. I hear people complain about battery life, but mine is just fine and I force 3g most of the time.
