[Q] New SU app

I have the new SuperUser app 2.3.x or whatever. And ive tried it on Eris lightning bolt and Zen Rev7. Both roms force close the thing everytime i use it. Any help? Yes ive tried removing the old SU apk first.

well if you look at the description for it on the market it says and i quote "If youre not already using superuser v2.3 or greater or youre using cyanogenmod or a derivative, install will probably FAIL, email the maker for a fix"

Well i did do that thank you

And i got an email back and i did what he said. IT INSTALLS FINE.

Was just gonna say that. I tried swapping out APK's before and SU fc'd, so try flashing the zip in the links below and see if it works.
