Hi, I managed to solve the trackball button, it's now fully functional on my phone
Thought, I'm not quite sure it's stable, beware testing this !

edit: it's transparent for now, meaning it will show as background the app / desk on which you locked the phone. will now look on how to display only the main background

edit2:a quick fix for the "background" thing would be to mod framework-res.apk/res/layout/keyguard_screen_tab_unlock.xml but thats a cheap fix =/ using aosp 2.1's android.policy.jar don't have this issue... it's fixable within the android.policy.jar and looks proper.
how do i flash it. i tried installing it but nothing changed??

added kernel tweak
Google Voice added http://voice.google.com/
and some other stuff cant remember right now

(i just wrote this becouse i wanted post #1000 but dident want to post a pointless post)
Smilies are from Yoki
and I included his Kawaii force smilies in my framework-res.apk

ps: could you check if including my modded android.policy.jar breaks or not the HTC lockscreen ? If not, you could include modded framework-res.apk (including the vanilla background lockscreen fix) & android.policy.jar in 0001... It would then take 2min to switch from htc's to vanillas lockscreen

Here's a quick rar including smilies renamed correctly to fit in drawable-ldpi in one copy past :

- do a nandroid backup
- download "vanilla_bleh-bleh.zip"
- put it on your SDcard (take your time and move the nandroid backup on your computer)
- reboot in recovery
- select flash a zip from sd
- select vanilla_lock.zip"
- wait & reboot (it will take A LONG TIME BEFORE IT STARTS, because it needs to rebuild the dalvik cache ENTIRELY)

Yes, that's a 7.2 android.policy.jar decompiled/recompiled using smali : only modded LockScreen.smali for now.

This does nothing. Tried it three times , once putting the update-script from before in it , again with renaming back the HtcLockScreen.apk that i had renamed , once without the update-script and with the HtcLockScreen.apk as original. Nothing.
Android History:
HTC - Tattoo - Sold
SE - X10Min - Sold
HTC - Wildfire - Sold
SE - X10i - Very brief encounter used for a week maybe - Rotting somewhere
ZTE - Blade - Root - Kallt Kaffes JapaneseJellyfish #[latest] - Sold
HTC - Desire - Root - MiUi - Microphone died, Still used for experiment etc.

edit: after this, your phone should take a really long time, it's not crashed, it's rebuilding the dalvik cache entirely (adb shell => logcat to check)

Sorry, wrong version uploaded, you only need one file, this one :

Edit: moved file to : http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...postcount=1025
