so what does this mean for those of use who arent developers? Is this good or bad?

what do you mean lag in the videos i've seen i couldnt see any lag.

The epic 4g doesnt have lag, its the other currently released galaxy s phones that have it...

I noticed that the Epic didn't seem to lag as well but I figured it was just a matter of time until Samsung fixed the lag problems. I mean they wouldn't want their big bad galaxy s line to be slowed to a crawl because of lag. I wouldn't be surprised if we see this same fix used in future updates for the other galaxy s phones.

Would mounting the databases as 777 have any security implications?

Would this give the same results as the nand fix we have for the other sgs phone?
