The Epic is a CDMA. To go over seas, they will have to make a GSM version which is doubtful.

Dont say never. If a carrier wants it or if their is enough demand for one from a consumer, Samsung will make it. Try emailing Samsung Germany about it.

I know from a good source (big online Handy Store in Germany, which already know something about the x1 before it was out) told me the epic 4g is sprint exclusive but it will follow a 3g version named "Samsung Galaxy S pro"

The shop has the phone already online but without release date
