[q] Flashing themes is pissing me off

flashed about 500000000000 times today. can't figure out how to flash any of the themes. Here is a combo i tried today:

CM6 (latest version) - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=738691
king - http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...ghlight=mirror
CM6 - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=757713

And like 3-4 others that i can't find the link for.

The problem is, that it either completely fails and goes into bootloop. or it comes out looking like **** (icons missing, messed up colors, keyboard is weird, etc..)


anyone got any pointers?

Things to do:
Check md5 sums
Make sure each is comparable (mainly theme and specific version of CM6)
To be safe, reboot after each flash.
